SweetWater Brewing Co. will bring back its long-running 420 Fest on April 17-18, 2026. The event returns for its 21st year with a new venue and an expanded footprint in Atlanta. The two-day music festival will take place at Shirley Clarke Franklin Park, also known as Westside Park. The park spans more than 280 acres and connects directly to the Beltline.
420 Fest previously operated at Pullman Yards. The move to Shirley Clarke Franklin Park allows for more capacity and more room to spread out. This will be the first large-scale public music festival hosted at the park. Organizers plan to use the space for multiple stages and expanded attendee flow. The location sits on Atlanta’s west side and offers wide-open greenspace, trails and easier access than past sites.
Two days, two stages and up to 20 artists
The 2026 festival will feature two stages and as many as 20 musical acts. Organizers plan to announce the lineup in early 2026. Historically, 420 Fest lineups lean eclectic. Jam bands, indie rock, funk and hip-hop often share the bill. That mix has helped the festival maintain a national reputation beyond Georgia. We attended 420 Fest in 2017 and caught one of our favorite bands, Ween (photo above!). That year reinforced why the festival stands out. The booking depth usually runs well beyond the headliners.
A long-running Atlanta music fixture
SweetWater launched 420 Fest more than two decades ago. The event has lived at several Atlanta locations over the years, including Candler Park, Centennial Olympic Park and Pullman Yards. Despite venue changes, the core formula has stayed intact. Live music anchors the weekend. Beer remains central. The crowd skews local but draws national travelers. 420 Fest has become one of the brewery’s most visible public-facing events each year.
SweetWater’s ownership today
SweetWater Brewing now operates under Tilray Brands. The Atlanta brewery continues to function as a major regional brand within Tilray’s U.S. craft beer portfolio. The ownership change has not slowed the festival’s return. In fact, 420 Fest remains a key annual moment for SweetWater’s identity and community presence.

Artists and ticket details will go live in early 2026. SweetWater plans to release full festival information closer to the event date. For longtime fans, the move to Shirley Clarke Franklin Park marks a notable shift. For new attendees, 2026 offers a chance to experience one of craft beer’s most established music festivals in a new setting. After years of strong lineups and memorable performances, 420 Fest remains one of the better examples of how breweries can anchor large-scale cultural events without losing their roots.
