Thirty years? Holy hell, few craft breweries can claim that kind of rich history. How do you celebrate such a milestone? Well, you start by grabbing a beer. In fact, you grab a very special, only-comes-every-three-decades kind of celebratory beer. That’s what Summit Brewing Co. plans on doing for its year-long celebration. Not only that, but the brewery plans on giving nods to some of its long-time supporters along the way. Just watch Summit Head Brewer Damian McConn introduce the 30th Anniversary Double IPA above. The beer itself will be the first of four 30th anniversary beers that the St. Paul, Minn.-based brewery will be releasing throughout 2016 in celebration of three decades of independent drinkers and independent thinkers. The 30th Anniversary Double IPA will be available in four-pack, 16-ounce cans in March. Congrats Summit. We see at least 30 more years of amazing beers in your future.
