BrewDog, you are very much grabbing the globe by the balls. Thanks for doing it with delightful Scottish accents and genuine love for independent craft beer. From our xenophobic beer menus, we’ve noticed the U.K.’s most famous craft brewers, James Watt and Martin Dickie, traveling our countryside to celebrate a common obsession with inventive craft beer via that Esquire channel. Props, fellas. We love it. We certainly can’t wait to visit your 42-acre site in Columbus, Ohio, where your new American production facility should start making beer by late 2016. We’re based in Cleveland, so we’ll totally be there like all the time (in fact, are you hiring?).

2015 has been a bad year for craft beer. Global beer mega corporations, the ones who destroyed, bastardised and commoditized beer over the last 50 years have been acquiring craft breweries left, right and centre. Let’s be honest, the intentions of these big companies are completely clear: they cut costs, they cut people, they cut corners and they take pride in doing so. Their God is market share and their stock market valuations; they act accordingly.

We’re not ashamed to admit it: We have a serious crush on BrewDog — even more since they released all of their recipes to the public last week. Right now, you can jump over to the brewery’s website and download more than 200 different beer recipes and begin to experiment. It’s called the DIY Dog. From the site:
