What does Founders Brewing Co. mean to us? At CBB, it embodies one of the first craft breweries that gave us a chance. Back when we were drunks with a digital address, Co-Founder Dave Engbers did not hesitate to agree to talk about the redemption tales that surrounded the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based brewhouse. In our e-book, that puts Founders Brewing in a privileged Illuminati of friends. We’ve also noted how Founders Brewing makes maybe the best videos in the industry — from the camera angles, to the clarity, to the music cuts. They’re great marketing tools; this one almost made us cry in our beer.
Rick Fortier, creative manager at Founders, is in charge of making these moving images (along with Steven Cummings). Both are enormous talents (take notice marketing directors). Every year, Founders Brewing has its annual company party where employees come together to celebrate the brand’s continued successes. Before said celebration, Founders decided to ask its employees what the company meant to them personally — and the number one answer? Family. It’s inspiring, and we can definitely relate.
