A few years ago, West Coast craft brewing icon Green Flash Brewing Co. set out to open its second brewery on the East Coast — in Virginia Beach. Its aim was to supply Green Flash fans on the eastern half of the United States with the freshest beer possible and also create a new craft beer destination to attract fans on the opposite coast of its home base in San Diego. The $20 million facility looks spectacular in the video above and includes a 58,000-square-foot Green Flash brewery, family friendly tasting room with 30 Green Flash beers on tap, a beer garden, food trucks, retail store and private-event room and garden at the corner of General Booth Blvd. and Corporate Landing.
