Untappd powers DoorDash beverage listings
Untappd has partnered with DoorDash to enhance how drinks appear on the delivery platform. DoorDash customers can now see detailed product information pulled directly from Untappd’s beverage catalog. That catalog spans more than 3 million beers and beverages worldwide. The update adds style notes, ABV, IBU, descriptions, and packaging photos to DoorDash product pages. The goal is to improve discovery and decision-making for customers while giving small producers better visibility. From the press release:
“This partnership is a transformative step for the beverage producers we serve, improving the visibility and presence of their products for consumers looking to get craft beverages delivered through DoorDash,” said Kyle Roderick, CPO at Next Glass, parent company of Untappd. “It also enriches the consumer experience by significantly enhancing discovery and decision-making. With the improved Producer Beverage Management tool, producers gain greater control over how their products appear on a prominent platform like DoorDash, ultimately opening up new avenues for growth and visibility.”
New tools for producers
Alongside the partnership, Untappd released an upgraded Producer Beverage Management tool. More than 5,000 beverage makers already update listings weekly on Untappd. The new system makes it easier for producers to control images, descriptions, and tags across Untappd and its partner platforms. That control ensures breweries and beverage companies present consistent branding, whether on the Untappd app or through delivery partners like DoorDash.
A bigger push into digital

The DoorDash deal continues Untappd’s evolution under its parent company, Next Glass. The Wilmington, N.C.-based software firm has steadily expanded Untappd beyond its origins as a beer check-in app. Today, it connects 11 million users with partners across 80 countries. For breweries, Untappd for Business has become a key tool for digital menu publishing. The platform supports print, QR, and web menus and recently added an AI-powered design feature. Nearly 20,000 venues now use the system to update beer lists, promote events, and manage menus across multiple platforms.
Expanding through acquisitions

Next Glass has built a portfolio that connects drinkers and producers across digital platforms. Alongside Untappd, the company owns BeerAdvocate, Hop Culture, and Oznr. BeerAdvocate remains a popular ratings site and event brand. Hop Culture brings lifestyle content and beer festivals. Oznr powers direct-to-consumer sales and release management for high-demand beers. Combined, these platforms allow breweries to reach drinkers in multiple ways —f rom delivery listings to online communities.
Why it matters for craft brewers
For independent breweries, the DoorDash partnership means more control over how products appear on delivery apps. Accurate style notes, branded images, and updated ABVs help customers make informed choices and improve sales potential. It also shows how the digital beer ecosystem is converging. Apps once used mainly for ratings are now powering product catalogs, delivery listings, and sales platforms. Craft breweries that stay active in these systems stand to benefit from broader visibility and direct consumer engagement.
