Boutique co-packer offers low MOQs, custom formulations, and startup support from its Odessa Brew Factory hub
Thirsty Buffalo Brewing Company is putting its production muscle behind the next generation of beverage startups with the launch of Craftek Beverages, a new sister company offering boutique co-packing services for emerging drink brands.
Operating out of the brewery’s 8,000-square-foot Brew Factory in Odessa, Craftek is already working with several contract partners across THC and CBD seltzers, energy drinks, and wellness beverages. The family-run operation is designed to break down the high barriers to entry in the beverage space with low minimum order quantities (MOQs), custom recipe development, and hands-on consulting.
“Thirsty Buffalo is our heart and home – we love serving our community and brewing beers that bring people together,” said co-owner Erin Bishop. “Craftek is a natural next step for us, born from our passion for manufacturing and our desire to help others in the beverage space.”
Consolidating space
To streamline operations and grow both sides of the business, Thirsty Buffalo has consolidated all operations at the Odessa Brew Factory at 2330 Success Drive. While the company has closed its taproom at The Hub in Bexley, Odessa will continue to serve as the flagship location, offering the brewery’s full beer lineup, expanded food menu, and a packed events calendar.
“It’s bittersweet to leave our Bexley taproom, where we built amazing friendships and community connections,” said co-owner Mike Bishop. “We’re incredibly grateful for the support and look forward to welcoming everyone to our Odessa location, which gives us room to grow both the brewery and Craftek.”
The Odessa Brew Factory remains open daily at 11 a.m., with Thirsty Buffalo beers on draft, food from the brewery kitchen, and regular programming including trivia nights and live music.
