A 5K that ends the way summer should — with beer, pizza, and a pool party
Looking for a race that ends with a splash instead of a medal? Fifty West Brewing Co. and Fleet Feet are teaming up once again to bring back one of Cincinnati’s most beloved and unconventional summer traditions: the Pool Run 5K. Now in its fourth year, this one-of-a-kind fun run returns Saturday, August 23, and concludes with runners crossing the finish line straight into the pool at Ziegler Park-clothes, shoes, and all.
“This event just reminds you that running absolutely can be fun,” said Alex Bond, Director of Marketing at Fifty West. “It’s lighthearted, inclusive of all fitness levels, and everyone finishes with a huge smile when they hit the pool.”
The 3.1-mile route winds through scenic Over-the-Rhine and ends with a splash and a celebration: a private, 21+ pool party featuring Fifty West beer, music, and pizza provided by Brooks. A professional photographer will be stationed at the finish line to capture your splash finish.
