Breckenridge Brewery is rolling out costumed “ALE-ves” across Colorado this month, delivering Christmas Ale–themed prize packs to promote its seasonal Christmas Ale and its new 15-pack can format. The Christmas ALE-ves Delivery Sweepstakes centers on Breckenridge’s long-running seasonal Christmas Ale. For the first time, the beer comes in a 15-pack, and the promotion highlights that format through in-person prize drop-offs. Winners receive a visit from the brewery’s ALE-ves (elfs), who arrive in a branded Overland vehicle and hand off a holiday gift bundle. The visit itself is part of the prize. Enter here!
Who can enter and how it works
The giveaway is open only to Colorado residents who are 21 or older. Fans can nominate themselves or someone else who deserves a surprise delivery. The entry window runs December 1–10 (two more days!). Fifteen winners are drawn around December 10, and all deliveries take place December 15. Winners must confirm quickly; otherwise, alternates are selected. Alcohol laws prevent the sweepstakes from including beer, so the prize consists of a Christmas Ale–themed merch pack worth up to $150. Items include branded gear and gift cards. The ALE-ves deliver each pack directly to the winner’s home.
How to enter

Entrants can submit through the giveaway page on the Breckenridge Brewery website or by scanning a QR code on promotional materials. The form asks for contact details, birthdate, a brief explanation of why the entrant or nominee should win, and confirmation that someone 21 or older will be home on December 15. Only one entry is allowed per person.
A local promotion from a brewery now under Tilray

Breckenridge Brewery began in Colorado in 1990, but the brand now sits inside Tilray’s growing craft beer portfolio. Tilray acquired Breckenridge, along with seven other former Anheuser-Busch craft brands, in 2023. That portfolio also includes SweetWater, Montauk, Alpine and Green Flash, giving Tilray a significant national footprint. Seasonal activations like the Christmas ALE-ves giveaway help keep legacy brands visible during competitive holiday selling periods.
What independent breweries can take from this
Seasonal products can drive engagement when paired with small, targeted sweepstakes. Prize packs, home deliveries and community nominations create shareable moments without giving away alcohol. For Colorado drinkers, it’s a chance to get a holiday surprise at the doorstep. For the rest of the industry, it’s another look at how Tilray deploys its craft brands during peak season.
